In this program, we revisit interviews with some of Alabama’s songwriters who have joined us over the past few years. We’ll hear from Braxton Schuffert, who played in hank Williams’s first band, Grammy nominee and award-winning bluegrass performer Claire Lynch, Mike Cooley of the Drive-By Truckers, and Peanutt Montgomery, a prolific writer whose songs have been recorded by artists including George Jones, Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, and many others.
