Alabama Dance Theatre Artistic Director Kitty Seale

In this program, Performing Arts Program Manager Yvette Jones-Smedley interviews Alabama Dance Theatre's Artistic Director Kitty Seale. Kitty has been actively involved in dance as a teacher, choreographer and director for the past 30 years.  In this interview she shares special moments from her early days as an aspiring dance student and as an instructor of ballet with the Montgomery Civic Ballet and with her work with the Alabama Dance Theatre that she founded in 1986. This year Miss Kitty is being honored for her service to the arts. In May she will receive an Alabama State Council on the Arts 2013 Governor's Arts Award.
